    The schedule states the train, station, baggage car, troop, mealtime, and number of box lunches for personnel. A note at the end states that the loading plan will be given out at the departure meeting on 15 November 1945.
  • Correspondence to Oscar Goldsmith regarding fifty shares of Dallas Mnfg. Co. stock.

    The first letter notes that they are "drawing on [Goldsmith]" for $2,250.00 for 25 shares as they could only get 25 shares according to the handwritten note at the botton. Plater also asks if Goldsmith is in the market for more stock. The second and third letter details fifty available shares of Dallas Mnfg. Co. stock at $87.50 per share and confirms Goldsmith's purchase of said shares.

Housed at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, the artwork reflects the strategic and economic significance of the East India Company’s naval presence.
  • Copy of "Tale of the Old Times: When the Train Stalled" by Arnold Pollak.

    A copy of a story written by Arnold Pollak titled "Tales of the Old Times: When the Train Stalled." This article recounts a time when Pollak's train was stalled in Texas and, being told it would be two more more hours before it started moving again, he engaged in trading fish and wanted to trade the samples for a new cigar jobber. When the train started moving before he was done, Pollak started running but unable to catch the train, Pollak's friend Oscar Goldsmith pulled the rope to stop the train. Handwritten note reads: "Copy from the Tobacco Leaf N. Y. of May 29/26".
  • Partial statement of John P. Pool.

    In these pieces of John's statement, John corroborates that which his wife Sarah said in her statement. The small pieces of paper detail the strange stories told by Mrs. Hazel that were out of character and not representative of the people she spoke of. He also mentions what she stated of the murder of the man she cannot name and how a Mrs. Jones assisted by covering the "offensive smell." He also writes of Mrs. Hazel's accusations of Mrs. McDavid stealing her money and medicines. In the larger piece, John Pool brings up the porch location that she supposedly witnessed the murdered man from.
  • Statement of Sarah Pool.

    The statement of Sarah Pool tells of her encounter with Mrs. Hazel in 1845 in Mississippi. She details the "strange stories" told by Mrs. Hazel and how she accused Mrs. McDavid of stealing and had "opened her bundle," a reference made in William Conner's letter to Abner Tate, that supposedly contained some medicines. Mrs. Hazel then asked Sarah to convey the story to Mrs. McDavid to which Sarah said Mrs. McDavid acted surprised at the accusations. Sarah also tells how Mrs. Hazel spoke of Mr. Tate and his right hand man involved in the murder of a man who she could not name.

The 115,000-pound-thrust RLlO was designed and developed for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Saturn S-IV azld Centaur space vehicles.

    The RL10, which powers the National Aeronautics and Space Administration' s Saturn S-IV, is the newest propulsion system to be put to work in advancing our nation's space effortr On November 27, 1963, a pair of RLlO's successfully powered a five-ton Centaur space vehicle in earth orbit in the first flight demonstration of the outer space powerplant which uses high-nenergy liquid hydrogen as fuel. A six-engine cluster of RLlO' s, generating a total of 90, 000 pounds of thrust, powers the Saturn S-IV stage. The 15, 000 pound-thrust engine was designed and developed for NASA's Mar shall Space Flight Center at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft's Florida Research and Development Center, 20 miles northwest of West Palm Beach.
