Folsom issued the proclamation on the same day that Roberts received an honorary doctorate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The text of the proclamation commends Roberts' service to the university and the community, noting that "Dr. Roberts combined her job of teaching, research and service with a much broader sense of responsibility which led her to do above and beyond what she was asked."
This price list gives the prices for rides including "Merry-Go-Rounds" and their equipment, the "Kiddie Boat Ride," the "Flying Platform Ride," "Modern Merry To Round Drive Units," and trains and their tracks.
The release states, "Almost half of the increase results from a 21,000-volume build-up of the Huntsville stock." It also includes details about other system libraries.
Huntsville, Ala. -- NASA Marshall Space Flight Center engineers and scientists will soon begin using a giant Saturn V booster simulator in making various tests of equipment and facilities here and at Michoud Operations, Mississippi Test Operations and Cape Kennedy.
