Parkway Place Mall, found at 2801 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL, is a two-story enclosed mall. The modern building was opened in 2002, but the mall first opened in 1957 as an open-air strip mall named Parkway Shopping Center. This picture shows it from the outside upper parking deck, with one of its roadside signs in the top left.

The Confederate Soldier Monument, originally located on the west side of the Madison County courthouse, was moved to Maple Hill Cemetery after Black Lives Matter protests. It was built to commemorate fallen Confederate soldiers during the Civil War.
The Conrad Swanson Observatory, located at 100 Observatory Dr SE in Huntsville, is owned and operated by the Von Braun Astronomical Society. The Swanson Observatory was built in 1956 and has had many additions and changes to it.
Entrance to St. Mary's Church of the Visitation, located at 222 Jefferson St. N in Huntsville, was initially founded by Father Jeremiah Trecy in 1861 as a place of worship for the Catholics in Huntsville. It is still running today as the oldest Catholic church in Huntsville.

The “Gothic Church” of First Baptist Church Huntsville was located here before it was torn down and the congregation moved to the current church building on Governors Dr. It is now a Regions corporate office building that was completed in 1990.
Merrimack Mill was a mill that sponsored a number of things and created a booming industry for the town. Later it opened up the Joe S. Bradley school, and the mill was eventually turned into Huntsville park!
Wisdom Falls is located near what used to be the Monte Sano Hotel but is now in Monte Sano State Park. The Hotel opened in 1887, closed in 1900, and 1944 the Hotel was torn down. The falls can be found along the South Plateau loop, near SE Nolen Avenue.
