The note reads: "Henry Goldsmith - was a member of Co D - 4 [sic] Infantry - died in Huntsville Ala. Jany 6/17, was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery Marker No. 295 was placed on his grave - He was a member of Egbert J. Jones Camp.
